Renovation

Renovations don’t have to be stressful. Melissa enjoys sharing the early stages of her projects to help her prospective clients understand the amount of work, care and vision that go into a project from start to finish. These photos walk you through most of the stages of her celebrated project in Rowayton, CT. Each stage consists of important aspects such as picking materials, planning, placement and daily care of the home while under construction.

Consulting

Be influenced by experience. Be inspired by straightforward advice. Execute the renovation design of your dreams.

Melissa can help you think through concepts and help you decide how to create more living space, find more natural light and work with your current structure in ways you never thought.  She finds ways to celebrate the old architecture and achieve the vision for your family’s needs today and years to come.

Melissa has experience designing spaces for individuals and families that celebrate who they are and what they love.  Melissa’s work is often inspired by coastal industrial concepts that harmonize well with a genuine reflection on new american classic designs that are fresh, modern yet celebrates american history.

Melissa understands how to create a space you can come home to that is functional, welcoming, friendly and relaxing.  She picks sustainable materials and products that speak to the style of family she represents.

Photography

I grew up traveling and visiting so many landscapes. Photography came so naturally to me. Seeing the world through a lens I learned to use light and space to create what I would call beautiful imagery.  The pictures you are about to see are a few of my favorites.  I get my sense of design from my ability to view life from many different angles.  My passion is how light and space interact.  I look forward to consulting with you in your home.
